Choosing child care is a very important and personal decision for many parents. To make the best choice, you need information and support for your child's unique needs.
At Child Care Connection a child care specialist can assist you with:
  • Exploring Child Care Options. Give referrals to child care centers, family child care homes, nursery schools, school age programs, summer camps and nanny agencies in the following towns.
  • Information on hours, fees, openings, staffing and financial assistance to help meet parent and child needs.
  • Information on important key indicators to consider when choosing child care. A Checklist to take with you when visiting providers and  information on program/provider accreditation.
  • Consultation on child growth and development
  • Customized referral service for children with disabilities

The information collected during your child care search is confidential and used for referral and demographic purposes only. It will not be shared outside of CCC except for statistical purposes. There are three options for you to receive free referrals for child care:

1. Conduct your own on-line search for child care.

2. Fill out a Child Care Referral Request Form and receive referrals by email, mail or fax within one business day.

3. Call Child Care Connection at (800) 278-1503 and ask to speak with an information & referral specialist.

Child Care Connection does not recommend one type of care over another or any specific child care programs.

The names of programs you receive are referrals, NOT recommendations. Child Care Connection does not guarantee the information provided to us by child care providers and programs and cannot assure the quality of child care provided by names referred to you in this process. It is important for families to consider personal factors and values as well as quality in determining the child care placement that will be best for their child.

We encourage you to visit and interview with more than one provider to decide which child care program is best for your family. We urge you to check references. For information on how to obtain a licensing history on any licensed Massachusetts child care provider contact the licensing agency, the Department of Early Education and Care at 508-798-5180. If upon visiting a provider you have concerns or complaints, we urge you to contact EEC at 508-798-5180. If you have questions and/or concerns please feel free to contact us at (800) 278-1503 or parent@cccfscm.org.
