  • Which type of camp is most beneficial for my child?

  • Does the program meet state and local health standards and regulations?

  • Are there scholarships or financial assistance?

  • Camp's criteria for selecting a counselor?

  • What is the ratio for counselors to children?

  • Is there a nurse or doctor on site?

  • Are counselors trained in CPR and first aid?

  • Are snacks and meals provided?

  • Are there clothing requirements?

It includes a searchable database of its more than twenty-three hundred accredited camps and listing of summer jobs at camps around the country.  
http://www.kidscamps.com                                                     This huge database contains information on more than twenty-one thousand camps. The search tool lets you look for camps according to category (such as music) or special needs.
www.summercamp.org                                                     The National Camp Association primary purpose is to increase awareness of the opportunities and benefits summer camp offers children. 
www.masscamps.com                                                            This is New England's largest online summer camp directory. Parents can search for camps located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
